Hudgins' Family Facts O LORD, you are my God; I will exalt you and praise your name, for in perfect faithfulness you have done marvelous things, things planned long ago. Isaiah 25:1 Family Pictures:
Family in General Patti and I met in March of 1984, on a Sunday morning, at the base chow hall on Holloman Air Force Base in Alamogordo, New Mexico. While waiting in line for some fine military cuisine, I used a pick-up line that was to go down in history: "Would you like to go to church with me?" She swears to this day that she opened her mouth to say no, but the word I heard was yes. I spent the first two weeks that I knew her praying that I would not fall for her and that God would just give me the privilege of ministering to her and making sure she got to church. About two weeks after we met, she was baptized in First Baptist Church of Alamogordo (I was teaching the single adult class there at the time). After her baptism, I began to find it harder to pray my original prayer and found myself falling in love with her. We began to date shortly thereafter and soon became inseparable. After two years of courtship, we were married by our Pastor, Frances Wilson. He and his wife Pat had served as surrogate parents, spiritual guides, and adult mentors. We will forever be in debt to them for the role they played in our lives. Proverbs 19:14 A prudent wife is from the Lord.
Being in the Air Force, we have lived in a number of places. Here is a short, chronological list:
We are currently members of Hoffmantown Church in Albuquerque, NM. Dr. Charles Lowery was most recently our senior pastor. Patti and I teach a 5yr old class together. I am webmaster for Sound The Trumpet Ministries.
